Telomerase Is Needed To

[mage lang=”en|es|fr|en” source=”flickr”]telomerase is needed to[/mage]
biology help needed please :(?

This enzyme is responsible for ensuring that chromosomes do not decrease in length during replication:
primase.
helicase.
DNA ligase.
DNA polymerase
telomerase.
I think the answers telomerase but I’m not sure because when i research it it said that telomerase makes DNA longer?

and

Restriction enzymes are sometimes used in the laboratory to
restrict DNA replication.
restrict DNA transcription.
restrict mRNA translation.
cut DNA molecules at specific sites.
cut DNA into manageable sizes for manipulation.

I know they cut DNA but I’m not sure which of the last 2.

thank you 🙂

The answer is Telomerase, it is an enzyme that adds DNA sequence to the 3′ ends of the DNA strands at the telomere regions which are located on the ends of the eukaryotic chromosomes.

The answer is they cut DNA molecules at specific sites.
