Do mice engineered to actively produce telomerase live longer than average mice?
I read this experiment somewhere but now i cant find the website back :/
So do they live longer than average mice? or live the same time? Can someone gimme the details of this website> thanks~
There are a number of studies involving mice and telomerase. The most recent one involved a molecule known as TA-65 (“telomerase activator -65”) discovered by Geron. To wit, “TA-65 dietary supplementation in female mice leads to an improvement of certain health-span indicators including glucose tolerance, osteoporosis and skin fitness, without significantly increasing global cancer incidence.”
